The second batch of new movies of 2011 will bring to us The Dilemma, a comedy drama starring Vince Vaughn and Kevin James. Directed by Ron Howard, it first came under the lens when a trailer of the movie used the word ‘gay’ in a negative sense. Although the line was dropped from the trailers, it has been kept in the movie. Universal pictures will be releasing The Dilemma in USA and Canada on 14 January, 2010. Out of all new movies, this one may connect to the viewers the most because its plot is centred on corporate downsizing. Movie review -TRON Legacy
The recent batch of new movies brings to us another alternative reality based movie TRON:Legacy. Interestingly, the original TRON was made way back in 1982. TRON: Legacy runs for 125 minutes and has been rated PG-13 for sci-fi violence and language. It premiered in Japan and has been playing in USA since 17 December, 2010. The movie was shot in USA on an estimated budget of $170,000,000 and has a gross collection of $131,304,844 (in USA) as of 2nd January. This is a movie review of TRON 2.
Movie Review – Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1
The first part of the last Harry Potter novel is the darkest Harry Potter movie yet. In spite of belonging to fantasy/adventure genre with a primarily young fan following, the movie has been rated PG-13 by MPAA for violent scenes, frightening images, scenes involving blood, and also some sensuality – the famous Daniel, Emma kiss, both apparently naked. With a production budget of $250,000,000, it is one of the most expensive of the new movies to hit the cinema halls. As of January 2, 2011, the movie has grossed $283,533,215 in the US alone.
