Little Fockers Movie Review
Little Fockers is a comedy movie featuring Ben Stiller, Teri Polo and Robert De Niro. It is the only comedy out of all the new movies. It spans a reel time of 98 minutes and opened on 22 December, 2010 in USA. It has been rated PG-13 due to persistent mature sexual humour and a few scenes involving drug content. The entire movie was shot in North America. It was made on a budget of $100,000,000 and has amassed gross earnings of $102, 576, 190 as of 2 January, 2011. The plot revolves around Jack Brynes (Robert De Niro), a retired CIA agent’s search of a new head of family in light of his growing health issues. Jack chooses His wife Pam’s(Teri Polo) husband, Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) as the new head but soon after begins to doubt his decision. Jack assumes that Greg is having an affair with Andi Gracia (Jessica Alba), Jack’s business partner and asks Pam to divorce Greg and marry her ex-fiancé. Greg tries to change his lifestyle to clear Jack’s doubts. Finally, the two Greg and Jack make up at the couple’s twins’ birthday party after Greg saves Jack’s life following a heart attack.
The movie review of little Fockers has almost universally been critical. Rotten Tomatoes aggregates it a 10% fresh score. IMDB gives it 5.3 stars out of 10. On Metacritc, it has managed only 27 points out of 100. Replicating the trends, other review aggregator sites have branded this comedy as a failure. The jokes are weak and get a hearty laugh only once in a while. This one of the new movies may be resorted to for the comedy element but all in all, there are several movies better than Little Fockers playing right now.
