The Movies That Made the Cut in 2009 Money-Wise
We have seen a lot of great movies in 2009 and a few not so good ones. As the year is coming to an end, it is time to list which one’s did make it to the top. A movie is a gamble either the viewers like it or they don’t. So let’s see who has played the right cards and won.
The Twilight Saga – New Moon
So many artists have seemingly been desperate to score a spot on the soundtrack to The Twilight Saga: New Moon, working all their contacts and building online campaigns in a bid to provide the musical backdrop to the love triangle between Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner). However for Birmingham indie rock band, Editors, it’s a very different story. The quartet have confirmed that they’ll be contributing to the collection of tunes, joining the likes of Muse, The Killers, Death Cab for Cutie and Thom Yorke, but have found themselves having to defend the position, arguing that they’re not “selling out”.
