However, his clumsy younger brother Arthur, who is assigned to handling childrens’ letters in the mail department, inadvertently disrupts operations when he enters mission control to place some correspondence and a present falls out of the system as a result.

7. Scream 4: Years after the last instalment, the iconic 90s slasher series continues, brining Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette back together on our screens. The film focuses on the 15^th anniversary of the Woodsboro murders and the unsurprising re-emergence of the ghost-faced killer.

8. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt 1: Due out at the end of the year, the next instalment of the massively popular vampire franchise is likely to be unmissable for many.

So this has film has just been released in cinemas nationwide and looks to be quite a good romantic film! Based on the acclaimed number-one bestselling book, the story is told from the point of view of Jacob Jankowski (Robert Pattinson), a “ninety or ninety-three year old man” living in a nursing home. It looks back to him as a veterinary student being told that his parents have been killed and he jumps on a train only to learn it belongs to the circus. There he meets and falls in love with Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) the star performer. Against the wrath of Marlena’s charismatic but dangerous husband, August.

What’s Your Number?

To kick start your summer film fest properly, why not go to say the romantic flick “What’s Your Number?” starring Anna Faris, Chris Evans, Zachary Quinto (starred as Spock in the 2009 film Star Trek) and Ryan Phillippe. The movie hits our cinema screens on 29th April, starting your romantic movie summer marathon! The film is set in Massachusetts and follows Delilah (Anna’s character) as she realises she has slept with double the amount of men compared to the national average number. The film sees her re-visit these 20 past encounters so she can see if she has “overlooked” anyone special along the way in her attempt to find Mr.Right.

Bridesmaids

Bridesmaids is set to be released on the 13th May this year. It focuses on two warring friends and bridesmaids who battle over how their friends wedding should be planned. This probably makes you immediately think of last years film Bride Wars except this film is a lot edgier. It’s getting positive first reviews from critics and is even being dubbed “the female version of the hangover”. This is really more of a comedy with some weddings and romance thrown in. Definitely more bearable for the men in your life to endure anyway.

Something Borrowed

This is another romantic summer film which has been released in the UK sooner than expected. The film wasn’t originally due to be released until 10th June however, the film seems to have made an early appearance! Based on the book of the same name, Ginnifer Goodwin plays an attorney who is single and miserable and makes the mistake of sleeping with her best friend’s fiance who she has secretly always liked. Can she patch up her friendship with Kate Hudson’s character? Don’t be fooled this is no run of the mill sloppy rom-com as you may first think.

This Means War

No your eyes aren’t deceiving you, that really is Reece Witherspoon again. When celebs decide to work hard they seem to be constantly on our screens for a year or so don’t they! Anyhoo, it also stars Chris Pine (Star Trek) and Tom Hardy (Inception) – two ridiculously good looking men so that’s reason enough to make this summer tome viewing I say! If you also kind of want to know what the plot is…two lifelong best friends fall in love with the same woman and wage an epic city wrecking battle against each other to win her. But I know your minds are still on the two leading hunks!  The release date will be confirmed in June.

One Day

Guess what…this film was based on a book! It follows a couple who hook up on the night of their college graduation and then proceed to meet up once a year for the next twenty years. It documents their lives. Sometimes they are together, sometimes not. The good news is that it stars Anne Hathaway as the lead gal but the downside is that she tries to do a Yorkshire accent! Don’t be put off though, it could be brilliant I haven’t seen the trailer! It has been described as like When Harry Met Sally, except in England, Scotland and France…aaw makes me want to see it after all. It hits our screens 8th July.

Friends with Benefits

If by mid July you aren’t all sick and tired of romance and happy ever afters then on the 22nd you may feel like going to see the film Friends With Benefits. It starts Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. She is a headhunter who convinces him to take a job in New York. Rather than get in to a relationship which they don’t have time for, they get physical! Sounds a bit similar to No Strings Attached but this one looks better.

Footloose

Do you even the remember the first Footloose film? I have to say that a) I’m too young to remember it and b) Kevin Bacon has always kind of freaked me out – so I haven’t seen the original. However, it’s such a classic that I will probably go and see the 2011 remake this summer. Gives me a chance to see what I have been missing out on. Two unknown professional dancers have been cast in the lead roles (Zac Efron pulled out of the project as he didn’t want to make his millionth musical) and will feature new songs. Apparently, it is very much of its time and is receiving good reviews!

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn

Don’t worry, if you are far too busy jetting away in your hols and enjoying the great outdoors this summer, you can always catch some great films slightly later in the year too! Coming your way this November (rumoured release) is the highly anticipated Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The photo stills have started to be released and I can’t hide the fact that I am a massive fan of this franchise and can’t wait for the release. The first part of this two part film sees the characters Bella and Edward get married and conceive a little half child vampire – nice!

New Years Eve

And last but by no means least we have the film New Years Eve. Think last years Valentines Day ensemble but a much, much better sequel. This film sees an all new cast with the exception of Jessica Biel and Ashton Kutcher who play new characters making it not a sequel at all but more like a second bash at it – weird! This time it follows the lives of several couples and singles in New York, as they intertwine over the course of New Year’s Eve. It is due for release December 9th which is of course very apt!

Successful businessman inherits six penguins and literally fell in love with them. Work is abandoned, spacious apartments are transformed into snow-covered cloister, it even almost reaches the prison. But is there any regret about tinsel, even gold, if instead you open such unusual, and yet so real world? USA premiere is at 17 June 2011.

Some of best actors featured voices for Cars 2 Movie, and they are Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Michael Caine and Emily Mortimer. Like some other New Movies Animations, Cars 2 Will be released in Digital 3-d, IMAX 3D and2D.

Cars was second Pixar Movie, after Toy Story to have sequel. Cars 2 first plan was to scheduled movie to Summer 2012, but Pixar decided to release it whole year earlier.
